With a passion for food, Sindi Sokhela decided in 2015 to start The Self Made Chef Holdings.

The Self Made Chef specializes in catering for private and corporate functions, supplier home made meals, supplying lunches to working personnel and also offering a wide variety cooking classes from Domestic, Spanish Tapas, Thai, Mexican, Indian, Italian, Greek, Chocoholic, Just salads, Sushi, South African Cuisine and Kids cooking. Cooking classes take place at The Self Made Chef`s Cooking Studio in Durban, Kwazulu Natal. We have also started a range of  Pre-mixes, Essential Kitchen Utensils Aprons (see Shop for details)

In 2014 Sindi Sokhela was also featured in the MasterChef SA on Mnet, (Top 10 in KZN and Top 36 in South Africa).

We have launched this brand new website to help us get closer to our customers and to serve them better. This website will act as a platform for us to share all our details regarding our offerings and also help customers quickly get in touch with us for all their needs including sales & support.
